RESEARCH PARK INTERNSHIPS

The purpose of the research park internship is to provide meaningful professional experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential attending University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and The Ohio State University.

MBA INTERNSHIPS

Our MBA program is intended for MBA candidates (completed first year before MBA Intern program start) with an emphasis in marketing, general management, strategy, or entrepreneurship. Program participants are from the top ranked business schools. The MBA internship program aims to convert program participants into full-time roles at Abbott.

CO-OPS

Our co-op program helps fill short-term STEM project needs within our health care businesses while providing a skillset that is not generally available in the temporary job market. Knowledgeable participants make valuable contributions to projects and join the organization as full-time employees after graduation.

APPRENTICESHIPS

The skilled trades program is a three-year hybrid program of work and school year-round. The structured functional training plan that is offered to participants leads to technical certififcations, credentialing, or a degree. Professional development training is provided in addition to on-the-job functional training.
