We currently have a vacancy for a12 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager in Victoria, this position will work within our Endovascular team, covering the Melbourne Metro and Tasmania territories.

To be successful in this challenging and exciting role, candidates must have previous experience in selling vascular/medical devices, and clinical qualifications/experience of 3 years or more in the Healthcare industry.

The main aspects of this role include

  • Ensure that Company strategies are correctly and uniformly implemented
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products where possible. Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products and services to customer requirements
  • Comply with reporting requirements on time as required
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards

 In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required: 

  • Clinical qualifications/experience of 3 years or more preferred in the Healthcare Industry
  • Prior experience selling vascular/medical devices
  • Degree level preferred in a science discipline or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated history of over-achieving sales targets
  • Ability to quickly absorb clinical information
