  • Test method SME for simple and complex test method. Lead test method transfer and new method implementation.
  • Oversee equipment qualification
  • Updates management on project/activity status.
  • Lead and drive method, cost and workflow continuous improvement project
  • Plan manpower allocation
  • Certifier for lab analysts
  • Lead auditor for internal audit and ISO17025
  • Maintain ISO17025 Standard Quality Manual and manage Measurement Uncertainty and Proficiency Testing in the laboratory
  • Metric generation; identify adverse trends through metric and take actions to address them
  • Perform and manage laboratory investigations and nonconformance report to ensure that batches are released timely
  • Lead in Root Cause Analysis and provide solution to the issues escalated from daily operation activity
  • Lead or support cross functional investigations, discussion and project to resolve complex issue
  • Manage customer expectation and address their complaints


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology or related discipline with at least 3-5 years of experience in food or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of microbiological testing methods.
  • Work experience in a fast-pace laboratory environment with tight datelines.
  • Work independently and able to develop solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional or customer objectives. 
  • Ability to make timely decision or recommendations based on experience and expertise.
  • Able to work in a team.
