INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

As an Abbott intern, you will be part of a highly competitive and multi-functional internship program that delivers meaningful assignments at Abbott, while gaining access to senior leadership, career development opportunities, and rewarding benefits.


ASSIGNMENT PLACEMENT
Students will be assigned a meaningful assignment based on their skillset and experience, gaining knowledge of the company and health care industry.


PROJECT

Project assignments are designed to impact the business and provide an overview of the health care industry and conclude with a final presentation to senior leaders, division executives, and colleagues. Assignment project and duration varies by location.

NETWORKING

Through our program offerings, interns have the opportunity to engage and network with industry experts, senior leadership, and peers worldwide.

CAREER READINESS

Our program focuses on building foundational career readiness skills, ensuring interns are confident and prepared to join the workforce thorugh comprehensive career development offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS

ASSIGNMENT FULFILLMENT

Candidates must be able to fulfill their entire assignment, as defined by location.

CURRENT EDUCATION

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a proven high-score in related subject matter (equivalent to U.S. GPA of 3.0 or above) and at least one year of university-level education.

WORK ELIGIBLE

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where they are applying without requiring sponsorship by Abbott at any time.

FIELD OF STUDY

Candidates must be pursuing a degree in a field of Science, IT, Engineering or Math, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Environmental Health and Safety, Law, Finance & Accounting, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and other select fields.
